Technical Driver (Nights)

About the Role:

Do you want to earn a minimum of £825* per week? We’re looking for a Technical Driver to join our team!

*Based on a 50 hour week

Working Hours

Tuesday - Saturday start times between 21:00 and 00:00 - occasional nights out.

About the role
•As a Technical driver you will ensure our product is delivered safely and effectively to customer and company sites around the UK, whilst ensuring cover for our Shunting operation.

Key responsibilities will include:

•Shunting cover

•Locate of trailers on loading bays

•Set the fridge to the correct temperature

•Check fuel levels on trailers

•Organise the goods yard trailer parks

•Liaising with Security, Despatch and Transport to ensure a timely turnaround of trailers on and off-loading bays.

Along with the below driver responsibilities:

•Completing walk around checks and ensuring the security of your load.
•Updating and maintaining your work record through digi card downloads and completion of driver envelopes.
•Reporting of defects in a timely manner.
•Upholding a professional company image.
•Maintaining good communication with internal and external teams.

What we are looking for:
•A minimum of 1 years’ Class 1 experience.
•Current valid CPC and tacho cards.
•No more than 6 points (Including no IN or DR)
•A good working knowledge of driver hours and regulations.
•Flexibility around start times in line with business needs.
