As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to operating an efficient and reliable supply chain across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Transport Administrator to join our Logistics team based at our Brackley site.

As Transport Administrator you’ll be working  Monday to Friday 09.00 – 15.00 / 17.00

Purpose of the role:

As a Transport Administrator you’ll assist in the running of a legally compliant Transport operation. Working with suppliers to ensure all necessary documentation and data is received in a timely manner. Administration of the Transport operation.


What will your key responsibilities as Transport Administrator include?

  • Ensuring all legal documents are recorded, checked and filed accordingly
  • Retrieving vehicle documents from various systems and chasing suppliers for up to date information
  • Inputting data and documentation on to bespoke software, ensuring corresponding visual information is updated in the office
  • Working closely with the Fleet Co-ordinator and Section Managers to ensure we are operating compliantly
  • Compiling license check data
  • Inputting driver annual leave information on to on-line systems
  • Ensuring on-site contractors operate with work permits, and subsequent filing of the permits
  • Maintain and update fleet database

    What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Good standard of IT skills, preferably word and excel
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  •  Effective organisation skills.
